Hello Gurus,
I want to know what is the use of 'Document Class' in Sales Order and where it is entered.
Table Field - VBAK-VBKLA
Thnx
Hi,
Document class is already defined in the SAP-standard and
designates the storage-format for the external archive system.
An XML document can belong to precisely one document class. The document class is used to index different types of XML documents, such as books or articles, by different criteria. To enable this, definitions of your chosen XML indexes are assigned to the document class. The indexing service uses these definitions to determine the index values in all documents in this document class.
Regards,
Siddharth.
