Hi

There are not many for reorder point parameters.

You give MRP type like VB. Then system prmpts you to give the reorder qty.

these two are the parameters.

If you maintaing these, in the next MRP run order will be created depending on the stock falls below the reorder nqty.

Hope it will clear.

Hi,

nomarally for spare parts planning ,generally reorder point planning concept is used.

To run this you have to maintain reorder point parameters

reward points if useful to you .

Dear raj,

Here also you can use reorder point strategy. For example Details r given below.

In material master- MRP view - select the strtegy "VB" lot size HB. Maintain the qty in reorder field i.e. 10,max stock level 50.Now when stock goes down below 10,after mrp run system will generate the requirement for the material.i.e. stock is 8 then sytem will generate the req. for 42 nos.

thanks

Hi Mr Raja,

Be specific to your questions answer for MRP the total ownership should be owned by PP. In Plant the MRP Controller will evaluate the results of it.

If yo don't want to plan these spares then well you can skip this activity in the system and do it in your normal workflow.

I do believe you don't need to use MRP for these yep again it based on your Business whats the volume of it and how frequently you required it and the cost of these materials. Generally if you assign them into Bulk Material category these will not be planned by MRP.

If it helps to resolve your issue.
