How to lock the data for few periods in the Input Layout

Dear All,

I have an input enabled layout wherein I will display the data based on a period range.( For ex, 01.2007 to 12.2007).

Now, based on the current period I should disable the input readiness for the periods less than my current period.

In my ex, if my current period is 06.2007, the input readiness should be disabled for the periods 01.2007 to 05.2007 .

How can I achive this?

Regards,

Srini.

    Hi,

You can create two exit variables. One will give jan till last month and the another one will give current period till dec of the year. In the layout, restrict the data columns by these variables.

Create two rows in the data columns. Make one row as dynamic by the first variable and make that row as comparision column. Make second row as dynamic by the second variable and it is input enabled.

    Regards,

    Bindu

on the first screen select additional settings and inside select the dynamic field.

and then on the next screen you can selct the check box to make it a comparision column

    so it is not editable

    hope it helps.

    Hi Srinivas.

You can use user variable exit for the disabled one (the period one); based on the current period..

You can read regarding it in here:
