Technical Upgrade

Hi all,

My client wants to upgrade the sap version from 4.6 to ECC6.

That is only technically upgrade.

what is the difference for technical upgrade and normal upgrade? for technical upgrade, what is the roles and responsibilities for fi consultant? here my role is new for upgradation. so i am not aware of it.

kindly let me through the light on me. points are assured.

Hi,

I would like to contribute some of the points which i know

In Technical upgrade all the programs,Functional modules, will be added and system will upgrade to ECC 6.0

As the role of FI consultant is merely on Testing all the transaction . check that all the balances are correct after upgrade..etc

Normal Upgrade : If you are changing any functional changes then your work will come

Example :- New Gl, Document Split,

Here you need to configure all the settings related to this..
