Activity Type

Hi

I am doing plant maintenance order in IW31 and getting following message once I enter work center.

Actvity Type XXX Controlling area ZZZ cost center YYY in fiscal year 2008 not valid

When I checked activity type , I found that its valid till 12/31/9999

what could be the reason
