Hi

I am doing plant maintenance order in IW31 and getting following message once I enter work center.

Actvity Type XXX Controlling area ZZZ cost center YYY in fiscal year 2008 not valid

When I checked activity type , I found that its valid till 12/31/9999

what could be the reason

Its 01/01/1999 !!!!!!!!!!

same with work center

if you check CSSL table , I found there till 12/31/2007 oly

now where from this table gets updated

Check KP26, KP06 for Plan Activity/Cost Center entries, whether plan cost is existing for the period or not.

check validity periods for Cost Center and Activity type, and also check version settings under controlling area under 'Settings for Each Fiscal Year' for 2008.

You mean to in KS03 and KL03 ? then both are alid till 12/31/9999. And fiscal year settings for 2008 are already there in version.

what coud be the other thing missing ?
