    Hi,

    You can use below FMs.

    call function 'SAP_CONVERT_TO_XLS_FORMAT'

    exporting

    I_FIELD_SEPERATOR =

    I_LINE_HEADER =

    i_filename = p_file

    I_APPL_KEEP = ' '

    tables

    i_tab_sap_data = t_mbew

    CHANGING

    I_TAB_CONVERTED_DATA =

    EXCEPTIONS

    CONVERSION_FAILED = 1

    OTHERS = 2

    .

    if sy-subrc 0.

    MESSAGE ID SY-MSGID TYPE SY-MSGTY NUMBER SY-MSGNO

    WITH SY-MSGV1 SY-MSGV2 SY-MSGV3 SY-MSGV4.

    endif.[/code]

    2.

    FUNCTION 'GUI_DOWNLOAD'

    EXPORTING

    filename = 'c:\tst.xls'

    FILETYPE = 'IBM'

    tables

    data_tab = i_mara.

    write access to certain fields you have to wirte MACROs

    fopr that

    Pls. reward if useful...

    Hello,

    You can do this if you use OLE to download data to excel

    Using OLE, you will have to first set the 'Locked' property of the required cells to false (or 0)

    Then, apply the password protection to the worksheet

    Message back if you want more details
