Is dynamic display of company logo possible in SRM?

Can anyone provide any ideas about dynamically displaying a company logo in SRM? For instance, instead of displaying a single company logo to every user, displaying a different logo based on company code, or some other user attribute?

I suspect there would be some change to templates, maybe with some business HTML involved?

We are running SRM 5.5 with integrated ITS.

Thanks and regards,

Nick Simon

    Hi,

On the logon page, i do not think so because no user has logon yet. As such, you cannot deduce the user attribute data (e.g. company code).

After the user has logged on and then it is possible.

    - you will need to enhance the program code (BBPGLOBAL_GET_HEADER_DATAF01) to return the company code or indicator based on the user attribute to decide which logo to change

    - you edit the template BBPSTART 300 to select the different company logo based on the company code/indicator to appear on the header.

    Regards.

    • Thanks for the information: I'm not fluent enough in template modification to understand what must be done to dynamically select the logo dynamically from within the template. Any good suggestions on a tutorial or information along these lines, or an example?
