IC Web Identify Account to Email Error.

Hi Gurus,

I am having a small problem in the IC Webclient. I click on Identify account, search for the customer and once the customer is found I confirm the account. then, when I click on Email, I get 4 errors - 1) Enter Responsible person 2) Enter Org Unit (Sales) 3)Enter Distribution channel 4)Enter Sales org.

I dont really want the system to determine all this data and instead only need the email address of the BP populated into the email page. The email address is populating fine but how do avoid these errors. Is there any config missing?

Your help is very much appreciated.

    Hello Dave,

    I think that those messages are comming from an Interaction record that created Automaticly when you confirm a BP.

    Please check in your customization that those partner functions are not mandatory.

      Hi Eli,

      That did the trick. The only thing is there are three Business Activity transaction types. I did it in 00010 one. I removed the org profile altogether, created a new Partner det. profile and assigned that to this transaction type. Earlier on, when I removed the PD profile from the Transaction type, the system did not allow me to save so I had to create a new one. Anyways, problem has been solved. Thanks a lot for that. Really appreciate that.
