How to read the current number of the number range

Hi!

Is there any remote enabled FM which can get the current number of a number range object?

I want to read remotely the doc number of the last saved Sales Order.

hi,

i've found this function NUMBER_GET_INFO that provides information for a number range number. but it isn't a RFC i think that you have to create 1 custom function that call it.

Hi,

Please check the FM NUMBER_CHECK. BUt i don;t think it is remote enabled.

Above FM suites to your requirement (Check if number is within a number range ).

Both are not remote enabled, but I will use the tables which they are use.

hi,

the table that they use was NRIV but be careful some numeric range could be bufferized and the nriv table you don't see really which is the first free number. for example the range Debitor Buffered 10 number a time.
