Difference b/w spool and print

Dear Guru's

1. I just wants' to know, what is the difference in between spool request and print request.?

2. What is the purpose of solution manager and what way we can use it?

    Hi,

    Spool request and the print are both are same.

    Solution manager is used to load the documents,Now a days client require to keep all the documents in separate data base which is of SAP.

    Solution manager is mostly used by the Project manager and PL and TL,

    Developer will used to dowm load the Funtional spec and to Upload the Technical specs and UTP.

    Basically Solution manager is used to keep all the documents.
