Configuration Error in JCo

Hi Experts,

I am getting the following Error while Creating the JCo Connection .

com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (102) RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION: Connect to message server host failed Connect_PM TYPE=B MSHOST=vngsap1 GROUP=PUBLIC R3NAME=EC6 MSSERV=sapmsEC6 PCS=1 ERROR service '?' unknown TIME Sat Jan 05 11:56:42 2008 RELEASE 640 COMPONENT NI (network interface) VERSION 37 RC -3 COUNTER 1

Hi,

Have you defined the entries in the services file of the portal server about the Message Server , Please add theese entries in the services file and also try to ping to the servers at message sever port from the portal server.

You wil get the RFC COMMUNICATION ERROR if any of the connection properties of the WEBAS ABAP technical system in the SLD have been changed.Contact your administrator to check all the connection properties of the backend system(R/3,or ECC).
