Document uploading

How to manage the problems of documents being uploaded while they are still being updated in the current location?.....Scenario is like "Whole of Business Process as well as Application Documentation needs to be uploaded in Solution Manager Database at the same time those documention are still updated(create/Modify) at PC/Desktop." It's like continous Process of uploading & updating at Desktop.
