Hi I have some doubts related to the exception please clarify them:
1.A check mark for Ative?
2.Evaluation for Key figure and Characterstic.
3.Exception values (tab)
4.Area of application of the exception
5.Check mark for variable entry
Points will be definitely assinged.
Thanks,
Vasu.
1.A check mark for Active?
with this u can make the exception active /inactive
lets say u define exception but u dont want to use it under certain scenarios, then with this tab if u unchekc it u make the exception inactive and query execution will not use exception (this way u remove the process of deleting exception, and keep it for future use)
2.Evaluation for Key figure and Characterstic.
u can use exception for keyfigures and characteristics both.
if u intend to use it only for keyfigure then u can chose keyfigure only.
if u intend to use it only for char then u can do that too.
3.Exception values (tab)
this is the tab where u will define new exceptions, make them active/inactive and set different properties for it.
4.Area of application of the exception
i did not found this property anywhere but from its description it is more related with where u want to implement the exceptions. i.e. keyfigure or characteristics,
and this 2 are the only place where u can apply exceptions.
5.Check mark for variable entry
using this u can use variable and if u intend u can use only specific variable which will input the user defined values and then use that values in exception definition so at query execution it displays ur intended output.
