Please provide feedback on the below cases assuming integration with SAP ERP for Service Management Scenario is in scope & Integration with SAP ERP CATS is OUT of scope.
1. In order for the 'Automatic Product Determination for Time Recording' rules to work, what should be the selected Product Usage Type (Service, Time)?
Administrator Work Center > Service & Social Settings> Time Recording> settings for defining rules for Time Item products.
2. From the Time Entry screen, I see that Service Item (Usage = Service) can be assigned to Time Entries. So, I guess the logic behind Time Entries, is that Time Entries are related with Items of Type 'Service' - correct?
3. Then, if Time Entries are related only to Service Items - what is the purpose of having "Time" Types Items in the system?
4. In order for Time Items to be appeared in the 'Time' Tab of a Service Ticket - the processing Code should be pre-selected as 'SRS1 - Time'. And on that case, I cannot link Time Entries with Time Items - since they only linked to Service Items. Is it possible for Time Entries to be linked with Time Items?
