Hi Experts,

I have J2EE engine installed on the Server.

Now i want to access the NWDS from the other client in the Network. But there J2EE engine is not available.

I have done the settings in the Preferences but in vain.

Also i ping the server, its giving reply from command prompt,

but in NWDS when i am giving the Host name in JDI, then i am not able to get the Ping.

Error is

Unable to open connection to host "vngsap2.vcerp.com:50000". The host is down or unavailable..

The Host Name should be full.

Check Proxy Settings for the Host.

So pls help me out asap.

Waiting for your reply,

Thanks,

Regards,

DS

Hi,

Even if the ping doesnt respond from the preferences tab the system used to connect. Just check the J2EE Explorer tab from the view

Hi,

are you able to access the system from the browser "http://vngsap2.vcerp.com:<Your port>".

if the above page comes up use "/nwa" as part of the url and see the message server port.

Is your message server port "50000"?
