Time Eval: Generating absence quotas (schema TQTA)

Hi,

Today (Jan. 3rd) I'm testing Time Eval for "Vacation" absence quota geneartion. When I run PT60 with the TQTA schema for a test employee, 'Evaluation up to' 02/01/2008, this is the IT2006 that is generated:

Start Date: 12/23/2007

End Date: 12/23/2007

Quota Text: Vacation

Start ded: 12/15/2007 (which is the test employee's work start date)

End ded.: 12/31/2009

Number: 6.00000

Deduction: 0.00000

Some questions here are:

1. Why is SAP giving me a start and end date of 12/23/2007?

2. What determines the 6 days for the Number balance?

The following is how I configured what I think is important here...

IMG > Time Mgmt > Time Data Recording and Admin > ... Define Generation Rules for Quota Type Selection

Then in the details view for "Vacation" I have the following:

Accrual period tab

Calendar year selected

(all other options blank)

Base entitl. tab

Rule for base entitlement: A rule I configured that sets Base entitlement: 18 days, Calendar year, fromSeniority 0-999 years

Key Date for Determining Seniority: For Exact Day selected

Kay Date for Determing Age: For Exact Day selected

(all other options blank)

Total entitl. tab

Rounding rule: 1 (Round up or down one place)

Max. entitl.: 18.00000 days

Why is TQTA generating 6 days for IT2006? when I believe it should be generating something closer to 2 days because I selected 'Evaluation up to' 02/01/2008 (1.5 days per month = 18 days per year entitlement).
