what is Authorization Objects for Sales Org

Hi,

pls tell me how can i find out what r the Authorization Objects for Sales Org in CRM. step by step information will be a great help. pls send me any docusments or screenshots or link on sajjangohil@yahoo.com.

scenario is something like this, i want to authorize a particular user to a particular sales org, lets say for mumbai. i want to know what are the steps that a crm consultant needs to do before its been authorized by basis consultant.

points will be rewarded.

Hi Sajjan,

You can find all the authorization objects under t.Code: SU21.

Hi,

I have found the auth object for sales org in SU21, where you can find the list of all the authorization objects. you can see the see the documentation for the particular object by clicking display obj doc, plus all the permitted activities. then go to tc PFCG, there select the role SAP_CRM_ORG_MANAGEMENT and click on display role button, click on authorization tab, click on change, then you will be able to change authorization data and create new profile with the help of BASIS people for that particular role.

how can i assign auth object to a profile? do i assign it in PFCG? because i cant find crm_ord_lp in there.

from all the above answers i have come to the conclusion that first i need to ask basis consultant to define sale org value in the auth crm_ord_lp(pls give me examples for values). second step i assing this auth obj to a particular profile in PFCG. then in third step i assign the profile to the particular user in SU01. am i right? if not pls correct me and tell me the steps.

Hi,

Please ask the basis consultant to define the sales area values in the authorization object CRM_BP_SA, than this object needs to be assign to the particular profile and profiles needs to be assign to the particular user .

Hi Sajjan,

CRM_ORD_LP is not a role, it is the authorization object, which would be available in SU21.

Note: PFCG is used to maintain the required authorization values against authorization objects.
