Not able to display Test Case tree view while creating test plan in test suite sap solman 7.2

Hi,

We have upgraded our solution manager system from 7.1 to 7.2 SPS 04.

We are using test suite for manual testing. While creating Test Plan in Test Case assignment tab we are not able to get test cases which are assigned in solution documentation. Saved search configuration is completed in mandatory configuration.

also in process management we have completed authorization concept.

Still we are not able to see any test cases. Please let us know if there is any authorization object we can use to get the test case view in test plan management.

Also we have set the test cases as additive in soldoc.

Hello Vijay,

You are not able to see Business Process Structure within the Test Case Selection tab of the Test Plan ?

Have you selected the Right Solution and the Branch where you have the Test Cases assigned ?

Thanks,

Aj

Hello Somashekar,

Thanks for your reply. Yes we have selected correct solution/branch which is having test cases assigned to business processes steps.

And also test cases are in status additive. But now the issue is solved. We are able to see test case tree view in test case selection tab.

This is authorization issue. We need to schedule job in ESH_COCKPIT for below connectors.

Solution Documentation:Element & Solution Documentation: KW Info Object. From there look at
the details of Solution Documentation: Element" and select Schedules.
From there, select Model name: Authorizations for backend user and
Object type User_Authority. Here, this must be set to Days: 1

By performing this steps we are able to solve this issue.

Regards,

Vijay

Hello,

When you use the option to generate Test Case Hierarchy from Solution Documentation what is the error message received. There is an option to see the Generation Log. Please check and reply as to what is the issue obtained.

Sometimes it can be a TREX issue.

Thanks,

Aj

Hi there,

Solution Manager 7.2 SP06.

We are facing the same issue.

If we want to assign testcases to a testplan, we are facing an "500 Sap Internal Server Error".

If we are checking the related class (CL_SMT_RPT_SSIMG_FACADE) with T-Code SE38, the Syntax Check is saying that data type "SMT_T_SSIMG_LOG" does not exist.

This is a SAP standard class.
