How to disable item level fields in ME52n

Hello All,

For one of requirement business wants to disable ME52N for user from SAP ECC but enable from SAP portal side .

So I tried via basis but didn't work .

I want user can create purchase req. via portal but not allowed to make any change via SAP ECC.

Can u help me with transaction variant or code wise to achive same.

What did you try from basis side ? Do you want to desable the transaction code or any particular field ?

Hi,

As yo usaid, the best option is to create a transaction variant in SHD0 for ME52N and ME53N. Alternatively, you may copy the field selection AKTV as ME52N and make all the fields as non-editable and check whether its getting impacted while generating from portal.
