We are going to have Master Data Harmonization to change the code material for several materials.

Has Anybody already done it?

Could you give me your feedback about Master Data Harmonization?

Which has been the impacts on the systems?

On standard/custom objet?

In BW?

Hi,

Master Data Harmonization is one of the 3 scenerios of MDM, the other 2 being consolidation and central Master Data Management. By MDM Harmonization, you are distributing the consolidated data to the hetrogenous systems in the landscape. Infact, as i mentioned above, you have to consolidate the data in MDM before harmonising it. You can distribute both standard and cusotm objects in the harmonization process. Regarding your question on BI-MDM scenerio, you are basically consolidating the masters and upon matching/merging the duplicates, you can get reports in BI.
