Cannot modify order qty for item with material substitution

Dear SAP Experts,

I have a sales order with material determination activated. In VB13, I have maintained SKU A to be substituted by SKU B.

In sales order, when I input A, there will be higher level item A and sub item B, if stock of A is not enough to serve.

When delivery order is released, I found that the order qty in both higher level or sub item cannot be changed.

So it is not possible to increase the order qty of the original items?

You can change the quantity of higher level item. Have a look at OSS note 1398021 for more information.
