slg1.jpgHello Experts,

We are getting SLG1 log with Auth check for our GRC self connector.

SLG1 Error log for object - GRAC and Sub-object - AUTH

We haven't faced any issues in GRC neither anyone reported to us like system/application broken but we have seen this error log in SLG1 while monitoring the log.

Can you please help to understand why we are getting this error log, which application GRC is trying to access?

Regards,

Biswaranjan

Dear Biswaranjan,

you can use object GRAC_EMPLY to restrict activities based on the following attributes: cost center, department, company, location. You use this object to maintain authorization for attributes not in the in the GRAC_USER object.

If everything seems to be working fine, don't bother too much about authorization failures in SLG1. The web dynpros always check all possible authorizations to display the views, buttons, etc. In most cases extensive authorization is not required to successfully run applications.

Hope this helps.
