Closing SO Setting

Dear Sir,

Our customer orders 100 kg of Meat, but we can deliver only 90 kg. After processing Delivery Order, we want the SO closed automatically. In another ERP, Odoo, there is an option in general setting, if we tick "Delivery At Once",, the SO will be closed automatically after processing Delivery Order.

QUESTION : Where we can set in SAP B1?

Hi PFR,

I am afraid so. Also, with the future in mind:

• What if some day you get a new customer who does not want to create a new order, but wants you to deliver the back order ?
• Or what if you decide that you only want to close orders that have been fulfilled more than for example 75%, but all other orders should remain in back order ?

With an addon you can easily enforce new rules / arrangements in the future, if your situation changes.

To my knowledge, unfortunately there is no such setting in B1.

If the volume of orders is large enough you may consider a small addon that checks for delivered orders and then closes them, or you could create a simple query and have a user close all orders manually using the query as a guideline.
