A separation action is run to separate the emp from the organisation. For e.g an employee A's last working day is 31.12.2008. hence the position will be vacant from 01.02.2008.
Now the HR department has to start the work of finding the replacement as soon as the resignation is received. Now the HR department has identified the replacement (e.g employee B). Employee B will join the organisation on 22.01.2008.
Now my question is how will this scenario get implemented in SAP. The position will be occupied till the last working day of employee A. So now what position can be assigned to employee B when he joins.
We do not want to assign more than one holder to a position at any given point of time. (ESS MSS has also been implemented.)
Please help me.
