What is parking document? How it is used? Please explain with example?

Park Document is also FI document but not posted, figures are not adjusted. Running nubmer is allocated to the document. It is one step before posting the document. The main purpose to use this function is for checking and controlling. You can park the document initially for checking the details before actual posting. You can control the posting of document by assigning the rights to accountant who can only park the document and assign the rights to the supervisor who can verify and post . There is standard workflow for park document which can be used for approval process.

Hi,

Park document is nothing but a documents is not containing all the required information. Accordingly the documnents is not posted and it has been parked to (waiting) to get the required information. Once the information has been get the parking doc will get posted.

HI,

Parking is temporary saving a document and later on with the confirmation of one superior this document is posted.We use Transaction code FV60 to park.Assign points if useful.
