Standard Business Content - Material Master

Hi,

Does the standard business content for Materials contain all standard fields in SAP R/3? In other words, if there are no Z fields in my R/3 system, is it so that i just need to unarchive the standdard repository, pull data from R/3 & import into MDM using standard import maps?

yes, in the standard business content for material contain all the standard fields in R/3.

you will unarchive the repository and pull the data from R/3, you can import the data through the import manager using standard import maps.

Hi Anoop,

Business Content provided by SAP contains all the fields. You just have to unarchive that repository.But still If you want to add/update any field you can do that.

Then with Standard Import and Export Maps you can import and export the data respectively.

But one thing which you dont get with standard business content is workflow table and in repository that table doesnt exist. If you want to have workflows then in Console in repository go to table level manually add workflow table with the data type as workflow. Then only you will be able to add a workflow.
