Webdynpro Java Environment (

SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio
SAP Enhancement Package 1 for SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio 7.3 SP18 PAT0005)

In a Devleopment Component DC1 i have a component C1. In this component a fire an event. I also created a public part, so i can use this in other DCs.
In Dvelopment Component DC2 with one Component C2 i defined DC1 as used DC, so i am able to create an event handler to catch the event fired from DC1. But nothing happens in DC2 when i fire this event.
I am very sure that it should be possible to communicate between two DCs via event handling. My qestions:
1. Is it possibe to fire an event from DC1 and catch the event in DC2?
2. If yes, what can be the reason for radio silence between my DCs?
3. Can somebody provide me a checklist with points i have to consider?

Many thanks in advance!

No i don't believe that, because i am able to catch this event in the same DC in a view controller. Catching in the same component works fine but not in the other DC2.
