Hi Gurus,

will we have 2 different sales docs for Milestone & Periodic.

can we create periodic billing with milestone sales doc? if yes how it is possible?

Yes, you can certainly use Milestone Billing Sales Document for Periodic Billing. You require to ensure the below:

1. The Item Category for Periodic Billing is assigned as Optional Item Category in Intem Category Assignment fot Milestone Billing Document Type.

2. As Item Category for Periodic Billing is an optional Item Category, at transaction level in sales order, the item category requires to be changes manually to the Item Category of Periodic Billing Item Category.

You have to make sure that the Item category of the line items is correct. If that is done, then it is possible to create a periodic billing plan for hte material in a milestone document type.

for mile stone at item level the item category has to be different then that is for periodic billing.

in this case the header billing plan will not match with item billing plan.
