Define other diagram / representation for display in homepage compared to the report view

Hi experts,

how do I define in the report another diagram / representation for display in homepage (e.g. scorecard) compared to the "normal" report view?

What I mean is the SAP Standard scorecards. Here an example: the scorecard "win ratio" (see screenshot in attachment)

In this example I see in the homepage tile "win ratio" an circle diagramm and a key value next to it. After I click on this tile the report "Customer Insight: Win Ratio" opens where I get a more detailed list with win ratios of the last quarters.

I don't know where to build scorecards - how can I do this? If I do reporting (copying a SAP standard report, I can adapt it and define how it should be display - like in a list or in a bar diagramm), but then I cannot differentiate between the "homepage view" and the "report view". So my workaround would be to create a report that has a bar diagramm as default to put in to the homepage. Then after clicking on this report in the homepage I would open the report and see the bar diagramm in big with a navigation target to another report with default list view that contains more detailed information. But there I have 1 click too much compared to scorecards. But if I put the list report in the homepage, it looks unclear and not user-friendly (scrolling a lot).

Can someone explain how to create scorecards or differentiate default views in reports?

Thanks a lot for advice.

Best Regards, Deborah

Hi Deborah,

You could try creating a KPI for your report instead. Example: If you create a list report, listing your Key figures, characteristics and with a certain selection - save it all, you can then create a KPI which would result in aggregating the Key Figure you want for your Tile. You can choose your visualization, and clicking on this KPI would take you to the Report you want to connect to. There is no need for the user to go the Analytical View unless he wants to analyze further which is also possible

So, Step 1: Create your report/report view with the desired selections - this could still be a list report.. Note the totals, selection highlights below:

Step 2: Create a KPI and specify the report view/selection and Key Figure details

Step 3: add the KPI tile to the homepage and choose the visulaization

Step 4: When you navigate from this tile, you come to the list view directly as was your requirement

Now, you can navigate to the Analytical View as well for any further drilldown if required

Hope this helps,

Cheers !

Vinita
