Hi I am getting following error while accessing menus in runtime workbench from SLD.( example: SLD->runtime workbench->component monitorung ->display)

"Error during communication with System Landscape Directory: User credentials are invalid or user is denied access "

I am using PISUPER to login to SLD and i am able to login to XI using this ID. I could find role -SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER - also in the user id profile of PISUPER.

Hi Karthik,

I believe PIRWBUSER is locked. If the user is locked unlock the same. Your problem will be solved.

If PIRWBUSER is not locked then see if the user has the following role SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER_MAIN.

Check if you can login to XI using PIRWBUSER.

I am able to login to XI with the ID - pirwbuser. So , i feel id is not locked. And I also checked user profile of this id, it has the role - SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER_MAIN.

Check if the PIRWBUSER password is same in exchange profile and at ABAP engine

Roles required to access the RWB:

1. SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER

2. SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER_MAIN

Hi Karthik,

Check if the roles are generated. Or ask your basis team to check.

IF the roles are generated then you have to check if exchange profile if the right username is mentioned or not. IF username is right then reenter the password.

Check the following parameter in exchange profile.

com.sap.aii.rwb.serviceuser.name

com.sap.aii.rwb.serviceuser.pwd

Sumit

Hi,

As I mentioned earlier , I am able to login to XI with the id PIRWBuser, but when I tried to login with this id to runtime workbench in SLD, it says id is locked.

As i said earlier, the passwords in exchange profile and ABAP engine seems to be different

Check SAP Note 721548
