ATP Type Non-binding Confirmation in Request external pricing

Hi all,

During testing of sales quote external request pricing, we notice there is ATP type for ATP check called 'non-binding confirmation'.

Can anyone explain what is ATP type? Why we have non-binding? Is it not ATP quantity is confirmed quantity for delivery?

Regards,

Grace Chuah

    Dear Grace,

We have gone through your query, and these are the findings,

    - "Non-Binding Confirmation" ATP means that no actual stock is allocated in ECC.
    - When you perform Pricing call from C4C to ERP, the stock availability is sent to C4C.
    - However, since there is no document created yet in ECC, no stock is actually allocated or confirmed for this C4C Quote.
    - The stock is actually allocated or confirmed for the quote only when this is transferred to ECC as a quote or order.
    - And when you create the ECC document from C4C Quote, confirmation message comes back from ECC.
    - Once the confirmation message is processed, this ATP type is reset from "Non-Binding Confirmation".
    - Only then one can assume that stock is actually allocated.
