Delivery Document for Subcontractor

Hi All

Any idea how to generate delivery document for subcontractor stock transfer through Mov Type 541.

Hi,

Proceed as follows:-

1. Maintain Sales Organization, distribution channel and division for the plant in the node set up stock transport order settings of MM>

2. Go to the node Subcontracting data:Delivery type f provision of material , in this node assign delivery type for the plant.

3. Create vendor master in XK01

4. Create customer master in XD01 for the sales area which is assigned to your plant.

5. Assign the vendor code in the cusotmer master record in the general data control tab.

6. Create subcontractor PO through ME21N

7. Goto ME2O transaction code execute and select the line item for which delivery to be created click delivery button.

8. System will ask for storage location from which stock is to be issued. input the sotrage location and enter.

9. System will create delivery with the delivery type assigned to the plant.

10. Do PGI.

Hi AB,

You create a Subcontracting PO

Then you do ME2O in which you create the delivery and system will automatically do 541 Movement.

Then you create Delivery by VL02

Then you create delivery document or shipping document by VT10n

After that you agin go to VL02 and do Picking and PGI.

and send the materail compoents with delivery document.

If you really want as mentioned in above message that is only a document then above sugestion is appropriate.

1. Develop a smart form with your abaer with the client requirements of the content in the form.

2. Crreate a t code and give selection criteria as Material document No & Year

3. the option should be if they press F4 in the material document the further selection critieria should be Mvt type, year, so that the program can find easily the material document once huge document is posted.
