How can I change the email address in my P account?
Ever since the platform was changed (October last year) this is not possible.
Just create a new user ID - you have no content created, you have no followers/following, no legacy reputation which means you will lose nothing by getting a new ID.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Veselina;
I'm sorry but I must disagree with the idea that you will loose nothing. Some people (myself included) have access to numerous resources tied to the P number. If i create another user ID I will loose access to those resources and access is not easily restored.
The issue of changing an email address associated with a P identity has existed for a number of years and consistently been ignored by SAP, which is dissapointing to say the least.

Veselina's answer was related to the particular user (now he is no more available). That's why it's a bad idea to comment on 3 years old question.

I agree that if you used the same account to register for trials this can be a pain.
However, for the user who originally asked the question this did not seem to be the case (and he never responded, so we cannot know why he asked about it in the first place).
In your case it seems that the situation is different (I assume that you do not refer only to SAP Community content).
I think that it should be rare to lose control over your personal e-mail address - this happened to me just once in the last 20 years (the company where I registered stopped providing mail service). Maybe because SAP assumed that people do not change their mail addresses very often that this is be the easiest way to identify a user.
I cannot say that I agree with this, I have raised my concerns about the concept in the past.
I guess that if you access trial accounts etc. with your P-userID that you could try e-mailing the support team and ask if they can change the e-mail assignment on their end.
I know this is an old post but this is the only one I found which is still open to replies. (I came here from this locked post: How can I change the email address assigned to my account? )
My solution was to go to the SAP Universal ID account management and not the other account management places (listed below). You obviously need first to migrate your account to this Universal ID thing.
There, the email address field allows for adding a new email address.
However, this field's validation check is apparently buggy. I have my own custom domain and wanted to use "sap@mycustomdomain.com" but it didn't let me enter it because "Our policy does not allow the use of a shared email address" or some nonsense, so I'm now contacting support. [facepalm]
Please note: there are several places in SAP online "world" for managing your account. I still don't understand why or what each place means, and the whole thing is so messy and unprofessional in my opinion. Those places are:
Frankly, the amount of problems and rubbish behavior of these SAP sites is embarrassing. Hopefully the SAP Universal ID would finally unify the whole account management experience and also solve the problem of changing the email address. I really hope the developers of SAP community take this site to the next level, because right now it is seriously behind times.
