Unable to launch SDM

Hi,

I've a newly installed Netweaver 2004s (SP6) in the Windows server.

1) When i tried to launch the SDM via remotegui.bat, it gives the following error:

remotegui "sdmhome=C:\usr\sap\xxx\DVEBMGS01\SDM\program" remotegui is not recognized as an internal and external command, operable program or batch file. ...

2) Also, when i was trying to deploy the java application via the NWDS (port 3900), it gives me error "not able to login as apiadmin" though i used the password for j2ee_admin.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

p/s: No problem launching the Visual Administrator.

Hi Julius,

Are you able to login into Visual administrator?. Sneak preview 2004s has issue for that we have to retype password in secure store.

Hi,

It seems that the administrator user and / or password are changed through the Visual Administrator but are not changed in the secure store.

Start configtool.bat located in /usr/sap/<SID>/<INSTANCE>/j2ee/configtool and check in secure store if the user name and password are the correct ones. The password cannot be seen but you can overwrite it with the correct one.
