Generic Data Extraction not yielding any Records

Hi,

I have created a certain Function Module(FM) for Generic DataSource which is a replica of standard FM -RSAX_BIW_GET_DATA_SIMPLE.

I have created a specific table where I am maintaining data. While testing the FM this data is visible in the internal table E_T_DATA.

In RSO2, I have created a Generic DataSource(DS) whose extract structure is the above table. However I am not getting any records at all inspite of mentioning it in the export parameters of the Function module. Further, in RSA6 I have transported the DS and also replicated metadata.

Is it because of the Function Group allocation conflict(one for table and FM and the other for Generic DS) or is it that additional LOC is required for extraction of records in Generic DS apart from the standard FM RSAX_BIW_GET_DATA_SIMPLE ?
