after oracle upgrade DB is not starting

Hi Gurus,

In the process of up gradation from 4.7 to ECC 6.0, we upgraded oracle 9.2 to 10.2. After successful installation of 10g when trying to start SAP, WP are ended. When trying to start DB from SQL prompt its giving error

ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Disconnection forced

*This is log file info in alert_dev.log*

ORA-00704: bootstrap process failure

ORA-39700: database must be opened with UPGRADE option
