I want to get MRP Run 20% from the sale Order?

Hi Experts Please Guide me,

My client asking to me that I want to MRP planning 20% From the sale order which I Entered in VA01

My client is following both MTS and MTO

Example:

Sale order Qty-1000

Presently MRP Running for 1000 only

But they asking to me that for 1200 MRP should be run automatically

Where I need to mentioned that 20% (As client requirement)

Hello,

It is not mean that since we are maintaining assembly scrap ,rejection must happen. In your case,It is just for increasing the Planning quantity of FG by 20 % and also its components.There is no other setting for MRP automatically plan 20 % additional quantity other than master data setting.

You can plan additional quantity of 20 % by mentioning assembly scrap in MRP1 view.

Ask client why they need 20% extra planning. Ask if there is any assembly scrap during manufacturing. if they have requirement of assembly scrap, you can maintain in material master mrp view.

Not possible at sales order level to determine your planned scrap percentage.

Is possible entries in MRP Planning Tolerance in percentage (Against Sale order)?

You can think to use safety stock usage for the material. also there is concept of % safety stock in mrp group. please explore that.
