Material additional data information in a report

Hello everyone,

I have a question about material master additional data. In our company we have to 2 descriptions for materials. and want to view both descriptions in reports. but it seems that there is no standard reports for show both descriptions. Can you tell me, if there is a report about our request.

In practical business, one material can't have more that one name / description, that's the reason SAP has given only one field for description. It can be a characteristics description or a long text description, both options are there in SAP system. Before see the description in any report, you have to maintain the description in material master. You've said "it seems that there is no standard reports for show both descriptions", but you didn't say where have you maintained your second description in material master.

we maintain second description in additional data in material master and also it's stored in MAKT table.

Does it mean you have maintained it for a different language ?

It will show when you logon with that particular language.
