Now i have Created new alert rules in Dev environment. Can any one suggest which one is better to reflect the new alert rules in Prd environment from the below 2 options?

1)To transport the new alert rules from QA to PRD.

or

2)Directly create the alert rules in PRD environment.

    Hello santosh,

In transaction ALRTCATDEF menu -> Transport -> Current Alert Category / Transport All Alert Categorries.

Refer SAP Note 913858 Question No 7.

For the Alert Rules you may create a transport request by runnning the report SXMSALERT_CONFIGTRANS.
