hi ,

i m using 3 material types ROH<CONU<FHMI

rit now i dint want to update value .only i want qty to be updated.so in OMS2 ,i have taken off value udate check box

but when i m creatin PO,sys is asking account assignment mandatory.what to do?

plz help me its urgent

Dear Sansany,

You have to do setting in two places in SPRO under material Master - Basic setting -Define attributes for material type

1) When you select material type detail screen do not click any radio button under value updating .

2) Then go to subfolder -Qty & value updating & choose your valuation area ( plant or company code) & ensure that value update radio button is NOT clicked.

Hope this will solve your issue.

Madatory account assignment is depend on Item category not on material type.

System behaviour is as per standard..

since yr material is valuated(accounting view), system is asking for account assignment..
