Goods Reciept--urgent

Hi everyone,

we have a scenario where i have raised an Import PO, but cannot recieve the materials into factory store due to financial problems & store problem. So the material will be in bonded warehouse in customs place

I have reciept the goods with mov type 903 (copy 103)into GR blocked stock. No when the materials will be actually coming to my factory i will do mov type 905(copy 105) in migo.

The problem that i am getting is no accounting entries during 903. Accounting generated during 905.

Is it possible to generate accounting entries during GR Blocked stock. Otherwise Journal entries has to be passed.

Dear John,

In standard SAP practice for material under GR block , accounting document will not be created because its logical that material still belongs to supplier & only kept in your custody /Premises.

You have to make this clear to your client.

Thanks for the response.

Actually the client has a requirement to see the accounting entries even when it is lying at the bonded ware house. It is actually the material belonging to their plant but at customs place

accounting doc. is not generated..

but u can make customized report by using followin tables..

If you are coping 103 movement type for creating 903 movement type....then Accounting Entries are not possible...

In my opinion....Since the material is lying at Bonded Wherehouse.....you dont need any Accounting Entry....It is like( not exactly)...Materail in transit....not yet reached your place....As on when you clear the goods in Partial qty. after paying customs duty.....the Partial qty. can be releasd in to Company stocks....that time only,the accounting document generation is needed...;.(like releasing GR Blocked stock)...
