I am testing CR 2016 on a Windows 2012 R2 64 bit environment running RDSH. I ran the installation as administrator and everything seemed to go okay. When it was done, I tried to launch the program and nothing happened. I went to the event log and found this:
Activation context generation failed for "D:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86\RptPubWiz.exe". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC80.MFC,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="8.0.50727.4053" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.
I see that the VC80 is there so I am not sure what to do next, anyone had this happen?
