Regarding Translation of Text using SE63 for smart Fomrms

Hi,

I have to do the transalation for the SmartForms in the language FR, EN, DE, ES .Source langauge of the Form is EN

I know that translation can be done using SE63 but I have doubt that in order to translate any text using SE63,I should have text in other lanaguage.

For exmaple: Text 'Purchase Order' as in EN so to translate this text in FR langauge, I should know this text in FR lanaguage also then only we can do translation using SE63.

Please suggest I am RIGHT or NOT.
