Hi I am using the trasanaction code /C*U*M/DESIGN (Stars kept to allow posting, while searching this tcode remove stars) to release the compatibale unit and I kept one new BADI Active ...and written single line of code "Break-point'. When this break point is active I am getting error message, I am unable to generate the order, its showing task cant be created. The BADI Definition name is "/C*U*M/BADI_TL_OPR_SEL".

Where as when the BADI is inactive, I am able to generate the order as is, what should be possible issue, please advice.capture.jpg

Why not looking at the Technical Information of these Messages (see 'Technical Info'), getting the MsgType / ID / Number and check in SAP Support and or SAP-Help regarding BAdI "/C U M/BADI_TL_OPR_SEL"?

Do a 'Where-Used' in Trx."SE91" on the Message and see what is happening in the code ...

I'm assuming it is Message 'IW 322' ("No Task List Selected").

I tried that, the technical infrmation help of SAP is not much helpful, when I am going inside the debug mode, its keep raising couple of expections not 2 alone ( beauty of standard code debug).

Attached is the listed errors. Let me know if you could interpret something :) !!

The IWO_BAPI message is some General Message raised by the Order Bapi (I'm Assuming "BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN"), the Other Message comes from some inner Function and References the Task List ...

I found the Message in our system is used AS ERROR in the Following Includes :

  • /C U M/LIBAPI_TF01 Include /C U M/LIBAPI_TF01 (Form "TASKLIST_CHECK_ERROR")
  • LCOSDF2D
  • LCOZRF1Q INSPECTION_LOT_CREATE_PM_CHECK
  • LIBAPI_TF09 (Form "TASKLIST_CHECK_ERROR")

Assuming the OrderMaintainBapi is used I would suggest :

  • Set a BREAK in the OrderMaintainBapi
  • Set BREAKs in the Includes /C U M/LIBAPI_TF01 and LIBAPI_TF09
  • ... to get some further insights

Some reasons the Message would be raised :

  • Is the Task List provided ;
  • Validity of the Task List (Valid on the Date) ...

Kind regards

Nic T.

And why can't you Implement the Note? Are you running a Different System than EA-APPL 602/603?

If so, you could always raise this Issue via SAP-Incident and let SAP Support guide you through ...
