Master Data

Hi All,

I have an Info object which has some master data's.I would like to update the info object with additional master data's.Whats the best way to do it? Will a full load again with new data's append to exisiting master data's or will wipe out old entries and new data's will be loaded.

Your help is appreciated.Thanks.

Hi,

For master data usually it will be a full load again...it depends on ur requirement.....

Since there will be no trnasformations in the master data load....and it will take few minutes usually so better do a full load...and many datasources for master data will not support delta....so i suggest u to do full load for master data....

Hi ,

if you do full load it wll capture old data along with the new changes,since master data has overwriting capability it will overwrite existing data

You can overwrite the old master data with new load if the old master data strcuture is not required any more for reporting
