Subcontracting PO from MRP Area Location

Hi Experts,

I'm having an issue in APO for Subcon PO created for MRP Area. In APO, source location for this particular PO is invalid (instead of Subcontractor Location, it is populated with MRP Area Location).

In ECC I have Plant 1000 which has two storage locations: SLO1 and SLO2. I have created an MRP Area: 1000_SLO2 which consists of only storage location SLO2. All Plants including Plant 1000 will be sourced from 1000_SLO2, while Location 1000_SLO2 will be sourced from Subcontracting Vendor (SUBC_1000 - Location Type: 1050, which is a combination between Plant 1000 and Vendor 123456).

There are no issues in APO when generating stock transfers request from all Plants to 1000_SLO2 and purchase reqs at 1000_SLO2 to subcontractor. Planned Orders are created correctly at 1000_SLO2, as well as Dependent Demand for Raw Materials. Afterwards, I can convert this PR in ECC into PO. However, when it is CIF-ed back to APO, the source location is not SUBC_1000, but instead it is 1000_SLO2 (MRP Area Location). Consequently, there is no longer Planned Order and Dependent Demand at 1000_SLO2. Dependent Demand (SubReq) for Raw Materials are now put into Plant 1000 and become mixed up with Dependent Demand for in-house Production at Plant 1000.

However, when I created Subcon PO directly in ECC at put Plant 1000 and storage location SLO1 as receiving location and it was CIF-ed to APO, the source location is correct: SUBC_1000.

Is there any additional config or setup that I need to do to rectify the issue? Or APO simply does not allow creating Subcontracting PO for MRP Area location?

Thanks for your help.
