Hi experts,
We have a business scenario (below).
1. In MDG (New CR), create the vendor general data
2. Extract the vendor General data from MDG and send it to Legacy system
3. Legacy system will receive Vendor data from MDG and create the vendor in Legacy system.
4. Legacy system will provide some additional data and send to MDG to update it
5. MDG receive the additional data from Legacy system and update the information and continue the approval process.
Can we use the same CR(change request – still open) in MDG to complete the process?. This is possible in MDG?. If not what are the other options?
Thanks Ingo. Appreciated.

Alternative process:
1. In MDG (New CR), create the vendor general data and activate CR
2. Replicate the vendor General data from MDG via DRF and send it to Legacy system
3. Legacy system will receive Vendor data from MDG and create the vendor in Legacy system.
4. Legacy system will provide some additional data and send to MDG to update it
5. MDG receive the additional data from Legacy system and create a CR with the updated information and continue the approval process

MDG by concept is to approve your master data and move to legacy system .
why you would like to do before approval took place ?
