HELLO,
we just finished migrating our java netweaver from 7.0 system to netwaver 7.5 with the components:
EP core application portal, enterprise portal and bi java.
The first thing that we found is that the portal home screen no longer works for us and gives us the error.
500 Internal Server Error is returned for HTTP request [http: // t1vappsapb: 50000 / irj / servlet / prt / portal / prtroot / com.sap.portal.navigation.portallauncher.default]:
component [gateway],
web module [irj],
application [sap.com/irj],
DC name [sap.com/irj],
CSN component [EP-PIN-PRT],
problem categorization [com.sap.ASJ.web.000137],
internal categorization [-379583305].
Has anyone done this migration? What changes must be made in the portal to make it work as before?
I would greatly appreciate any help.
greetings to all
Hi Edurne,
can you share what method you call "migration"?
Is this referring to an upgrade with SUM or a portal specific procedure?
Because in relation to SL (Toolset), when I read migration I think of the SWPM and a system copy.
But within a system copy you cannot change to another release, it's not possible to
migrate from NetWeaver 7.0 to 7.5. Hence my question to clarify this term so a proper answer
can be provided.
Thanks!
Hendrik

Hello , Thank you very much, the document has been very useful to me. We are thinking of migrating not only the portal but also the BW ABAP but I do not know what the correct order should be to do it. I can migrate the portal first and then the BW or it has to be both at the same time. At the moment we are doing the tests in a sandbox, but we are concerned when we have to do it in the productive environment.
Best regards.

Hi Edurne
Can you refer to the resolution section of the below KBA and follow each of the steps from it. Mostly that should solve your issue.
