logs are getting created, how to stop it.

Dear All,

We have Dev server which consists of Abap+java, but usually we do not start the java engine, we only start the abap engire, and all our consultants are working fine on that,

Here the problem is that if i start the java engine , then automcatically the logs are getting created under

C:\usr\sap\QAS\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\cluster\server0\log\archive

and c drive is getting full.

please suggest how to stop this, is it a normal practise,

we also have IDES server where both the engines are up and running but no logs are generated.

Regards,

Najeeb ..
