Transfer Appraisal result to qualification (intotype 24)

I've read that I can use in an appraisal a node of type "Qualification" and when the appraisal is closed, the qualification is transfered to infotype 0024. In the template definition I enabled the option to update the qualification but nothing happened.

Probably the problem is that I seem unable to had a node of type qualification to the appraisal template. When I try to had a new node, I can see the qualification option in the dropdown box, but the dropdown box is grey so I can't change the selection.....

What am I missing here?
